Aashiqui

The day started late, thanks to Vishy. Last night I went to drop Vishy and slept over at his place. On the way we rented a DVD and I fell asleep as we were watching it. But I woke up to the seemingly constant disturbances caused by Vishy's SMSing late into the night.

In the morning, We have left his place for office and on the way remembered that we could buy IPL tickets at cosmo's. After being told that no ticket was less than Rs.1000 and unwilling to cough up 1000 for each ticket we returned empty handed and headed straight to office.

Not much work had been done until evening as the work load being very manageable the complete week. But one issue that came up yesterday started annoying us. I went and joined Amit in the debugging. It has been sometime since we both debugged together and we usually never took a lot of time to solve problems like these.

Amit, being as methodical as he always was, took the traces and we analyzed them. After finding a few potential candidates that could cause the problem, we sent an update/status to the customer.

Vishy, himself working on something that frustrated him for a week now, came to us at around 21:30 to check when we would leave. Learning that we would be working for another hour he went ahead to have his dinner. He claimed and looked very tired and exasperated. Lately, it's not very abnormal to find him in such state. Annual day notwithstanding.

He came back after having his dinner and we continued working until 22:30. Amit and I were pretty hungry by then and decided to call it a day. We all then went to dine 'n sip, our usual destination for food.

We found that Dine 'n Sip had a new tape. And thankfully. And they were playing Aashiqui and I am big fan of Aashiqui songs. As we were having dinner, we slowly started to getting into the mood to enjoy the Aashiqui songs.

As so often happens when three guys sit together and listen to romantic songs, invariably, the topic shifted onto girls. Amit shared a few experiences of his friends and so did Vishy. And we talked about marriage and finding the right girl. Amit shared the wisdom his friend conferred upon him with us. Most of it sounded logical and we couldn't disagree.

The major discussion went around Vishy and what he should do and should not. After an hour through dinner, listening to songs and talking about love, girls etc.. we realized that all the Aashiqui songs had been played and could not listen to the song that was played next. I do not even remember that song now. We got up and went to parking lot. Vishy went with Amit and I drove home, hoping to have a good sleep unlike last night's.

It was a good dinner and Aashiqui made it even more enjoyable.
